Rory Hohenstein, Dancer

Rory Hohenstein was born in Washington D.C., where he began in contemporary dance. At the age of 12 he began training at the Kirov Academy of Ballet. Graduting six years later, he took a contract with Le Jeune Ballet de France, in Paris. In 2000, he joined San Francisco Ballet, dancing and creating principal roles with such choreographers as Helgi Tomasson, Wayne McGregor, David Bently, Lar Lubovitch, Mark Morris, Alexei Ratmansky and T.V's "So you think you can dance" Wade Robson. In 2006, Rory was promoted to Soloist and continued to enjoy his experiences wih San Franciso Ballet. Rory began his work with Morphoses in the summer of 2008.
