MorphosesInsights is a series of intimate events that brings together creators, dancers, collaborators, supporters, audience and fans for the purpose of illumination: the illumination of the creative urge and the creative process. The dynamic forces combining in each Morphoses production are endlessly fascinating and by creating a context in which these forces are displayed, spoken about and demonstrated, the MorphosesInsights series aims to give its most dedicated patrons an inside look at each production from the very beginning of its journey.
The 2012 edition off this exciting series kicks of at Scandinavia House (58 Park Avenue at 38th St.) with choreographer/dancer/filmmaker Pontus Lidberg, cinematographer Martin Nisser and Morphoses' dancer Gabrielle Lamb in discussion with the founder of Tendu TV Marc Kirshner. Find out where these artists pull their inspiration from and how they turn their inspiration into dance for screen and stage. An intimate reception follows the event. You won't want to miss the chance to learn more about the exquisite new Morphoses production WITHIN (Labyrinth Within).
