While in Vail, Christopher Wheeldon and Edwaard Liang will be working together to start a collaboration with singer and songwriter Martha Wainwright commissioned by City Parks Foundation. The full evening program on August 7th will feature excerpts of this new work along with Wheeldon's Commedia, Forsythe's Slingerland Pas de Deux, and One by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa.

CENTRAL PARK SUMMERSTAGE
AUGUST 14 & 15, 2009

Morphoses will share the stage with Martha Wainwright for the World Premiere of a new work, Tears of St. Lawrence, choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon and Edwaard Liang, set to new music by Martha Wainwright, both commissioned by City Parks Foundation. Also on the program: Wheeldon's Fools' Paradise.

VINEYARD ARTS PROJECT
RESIDENCY: AUGUST 25 - SEPTEMBER 24, 2009

Morphoses is packing up and heading to Edgartown, MA for a five week residency. During this time, Christopher Wheeldon will create his new work to music from Suites for Two Pianos by Rachmaninoff alongside Tim Harbour who is creating a new work commissioned by Morphoses to music by Ross Edwards. In addition, the Company wiill be rehearsing other works for the season including Alexei Ratmansky's Boléro and Christopher Wheeldon's Continuum, among others.

Morphoses is thrilled to participate in the inaugural performances of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts. Our contribution to the evening will be all Wheeldon works including Liturgy, a new work created just for the occasion, and excerpts from Fools' Paradise.

SADLER'S WELLS THEATRE - LONDON
OCTOBER 22-25, 2009

Morphoses returns to London with two programs. The first, our celebration of the Ballets Russes Centenary, with Wheeldon's Commedia, Ratmansky's Boléro, and a new work commissioned by Morphoses from Australian choreographer, Tim Harbour with music by Ross Edwards. Program B will include Wheeldon's Continuum, Sofly As I Leave You reworked for dancers Drew Jacoby and Rubinald Pronk by husband and wife choreographic team Lightfoot Léon, and a new work from Christopher Wheedlon to music from Suites for Two Pianos by Rachmaninoff.
